and how they send us messages of love after they pass away. The book provides a sense of peace to everyone who has ever grieved over a departed pet. But more so, the reader will come to discover that our dogs and cats actually chose to come to us specifically, to assist in our human experience of learning and growing. The novel uplifts the spirit and the emotions of everyone, and forever changes the way people see (and treat) our four-legged friends.

Partner with me. My intention is the promotion "life only" legislation for all American animal shelters and humane societies. Currently, a dog or cat is killed every 1.5 seconds in these facilities. I have been involved in animal rescue for 5 decades and the current system does not work. My rescue, Paws To Love Me, has saved the lives of many dogs who were scheduled to be killed in shelters across TX, OK and MO. We have also rescued dogs from puppy mills, hoarders, and paid for neuter/spay surgeries for needy dogs and cats in Arkansas and Missouri. Although this work is important, it has not resulted in any change in the way animal shelters operate. My goal is to change the system, which can only be done legislatively and through discussion.
